Originally established in 1986 as a small jobbing shop, we have evolved and grown over the years into a purely CNC machining company by heavily investing in modern high speed machinery. We are committed to investing and manufacturing in the UK and producing high quality parts for our clients at a reasonable cost. We currently have around 50 employees on site at Hemlock (cnc milling) and a further 30 at our sister company HPC Services (cnc turning). We generally specialise in the high speed machining of aluminium, non-ferrous metal or plastic components though we do have the capability to machine any type of material.
With 45 CNC machines overall we aim to be able to provide a complete machining service an we have a very wide range of clients in almost every market sector.

Most of our machines are high performance multi-axis and have high speed spindles which enable us to considerably beat cycle times and cost of many of our competitors. We have also added 5-axis machining capability to our list of services to enable us to produce the more complex components. We have also invested in robotic automation systems to enable us to manufacture higher volume components at a very competitive price point.

We have also retained much of our historical (pre-cnc) engineering skill base and have used it set up a dedicated prototyping and development section to do fast turnaround 1 offs for clients wishing to develop their own products quickly and we also have on site sub-assembly facilities. We also offer stockholding as standard to all clients and offer same day local or international shipping.
